For the past 14 years, Maria's fabric prints have delighted collectors, manufacturers, and designers. From food to race cars to rock stars, Maria’s eye for subject and color has provided quilt shops some of the most unique and best-loved prints in the industry. Her designs have graced the covers of Women’s Wear Daily and People magazine and have even appeared in music videos. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Maria comes from a long line of creative talent beginning with her grandparents who immigrated to the U.S. and established a successful dress design business in the 1940s. Today, Maria’s inspiration comes from the energized streets of NYC, as well as the serenity of her Connecticut home.
