The Biosmart 4.1oz Antimicrobial Fabric is a fabric with patented technology engineered into the fabric. This binds chlorine from the wash to the surface of the fabrics, the chlorine inhibits the growth and spread of bacteria. The fabric technology recharges with chlorine during each washing, thus providing a longer shelf life.
Independent, outside testing has demonstrated that when BioSmart fabrics are laundered according to care instructions with EPA-registered chlorine bleach, the chlorine kills 99.9* percent of common bacteria and viruses. This fabric can be used to make medical lab coats, medical scrubs, privacy curtains, aprons, butcher coats, workshirts, pants, and more. The Biosmart 4.1oz Antimicrobial Fabric is made with 65% polyester and 35% cotton and measures 61" wide.
